LOLCat Fever

Seriously, how can you not love these photos or maybe this website if it's not for these adorable balls of fur?! *^^* Just wanna squish them so baaaad... (do not that though, LOL!)

I wanna share my own version. Heeeeheeeeheeee! :D

Everyone, meet Eds, our 2 month old hyper kittie. She's always running around here and there, thinking that all objects in front of her is asking her to play. LOL.

The photo was taken using a camera phone, hence, the poor quality. I really should start taking lotsa pictures of Eds using a proper camera for better images.

Tuesday Must Be Spelled As R.A.I.N.B.O.W.

The soul would have no rainbow had the eyes no tears.

I wish somehow that I could see rainbows every single day. That would be awesome, no? :) And since that dream will only remain as such, I'll just do whatever I can to see rainbow colors anywhere I want.

Have a beautiful and colorful day, everyone! ♥♥♥

Extend Summer Please? :)

Pinks. Teals. Yellows. Glitters. I wish that summer will be extended this year. The sudden drop in temperature makes me want to slow time down and use up all my summer color polishes all at once, hence, the dual-hued nail design.

Might change nail designs more than once a week. Just 'cause I want to see more colors before summer ends. :(

Thrift Shop Love

I missed blogging sooo much! :) I missed reading my favorite blog sites, as well. Been so busy with my family for the past weeks. I love that my siblings are mostly home these days because of their school vacation. The entire household are usually out and about. *^^*

This is my recent favorite silk blouse I got from a thrift shop! I LOVE IT SO MUCH! My mom calls it a "granny blouse", though! LOL! I say it's my comfort blouse as I always grab on to this when not in the mood to actually dress up.

Oh and these wedges... ?
... I got them on sale! But no, they're not from a thrift shop. It's from Celine. I only paid half of its original price. :) Sweet! ♥♥♥

Hope everyone is having a great start of the week. :) And wow, the year is almost halfway done! :) ♥

If Gadgets Have Emotions

... then my camera would have said, "Whew!"

For the past few weeks, I have been contemplating into getting a new camera. There is nothing wrong about my current camera. In fact, I love it to bits! I have had it for almost eight months now and it never failed on me... ever! It has done its job really well. Actually, it really must because I think I read hundreds of reviews about this camera before I finally bought it. I was a well-thought-of purchase. It was not a very expensive camera but I just wanted to make sure that my money is well spent to the smallest peso.

Anyway, last night while tinkering on this little gadget, I stumbled upon a certain flash setting that I have never used before. (Yes, I don't read manuals that much.) Tried a few shots (of myself - LOL), and WHOA, I loved the effect. Take note that it was already late at night and my photo looked like it was taken at noontime - in a good way. The lighting was superb.

A realization came to me. I am already deciding on totally replacing THIS gadget when in fact, I have never really used it at its maximum capacity. I somehow felt sorry for it and I knew that if gadgets could speak, mine would probably thank me for still keeping it. I love my camera. And I will continue loving it as much as it loves me. I will still think about upgrading, but not very soon. Heeeheeee. I sound very shallow right now, I know. But seriously, how many times has this happened to us? With cellphones, laptops, or even clothes and shoes? Sometimes, our money's worth depends on how WE value the things we buy, not the value of the item itself.

I shall stop now. Emotional now.

Meanwhile, see my outfit (scroll up, scroll up!)? I'm loving my new navy blue cardigan which I recently bought in Baguio! :) It's sooo comfortable and loungy! And that UK flag shirt? I got it from a thrift store way back. I am very much in-love with it.

Happy humpday to all!♥♥♥

I Hoped For Rain, Then a Storm Came

Last week, I can still remember being so affected by the scorching hot (almost feverish, mind you) kind of weather here in my country. It was so unbearable. Even trying to take a nap on a vehicle on my way to work is impossible. In addition to that, dressing up became a pain because IF ONLY I can go to work in shorts and tank, I will.

Yesterday, Sunday, it rained. No, it stormed actually. I woke up feeling a little chilly and instantly wanted to crawl back to bed. I really thought the rainy season has already started.

On the other news, I bought this mini-dress specifically for summer. Think flip-flops, stacks of bangles, a summer hat and a killer pair of sunglasses. But, I guess that idea would have to wait. I wore it today with a thrifted cardigan (that I LOVE) and black rights.

Oh and the bag is also thrifted! I LOVE IT SO MUCH. It only cost me 50 pesos (a little over a dollar) and the leather is still in perfect condition. :)

Hope everyone is having a great Monday. :) ♥♥♥

College Colors

This morning, I was reading some updates about my college through an online alumni newspaper. Gaaaaaaad, I miss my school. :( It's so ironic because it is now school vacation in the Philippines, yet I suddenly felt that itch to wear my school uniform (yes, I wore uniform in college), pack my pens and notebooks, see my classmates (the fun part!!!) and head to school.

Of course I can't do that. So as I dressed up this morning, I was sorta inspired to use my college colors in my outfit. The actual colors of my school are blue and gold. :) I don't have anything gold in my wardrobe so I opted for a yellow instead.

Oh and how convenient are cotton tshirts these days??????? I could wear them forever during summer! (Forever + during summer = ironic ~ LOL!) This blue cotton shirt is one of the most comfortable I own. I gotta get more in different colors. ^^

How's your summer? Hope everyone's doing alright. ♥♥♥

The White Button Down

 ... is LOVE!

It's been a while since I last blogged. My two younger siblings are on vacation now (they are still students), so every spare time that I have, I'd rather spend with the whole family. That's because we are really "whole" during school vacations. LOL! It's very rare for us to do that when the school year starts.

Well, enough of the drama.

This is a very comfortable button down shirt I scored from a thrift store. It is really very soft and the fabric is light and doesn't need ironing at all! :) I got this piece almost a month ago, and I just cannot help wearing it at least once a week. Talk about a versatile shirt! This is it! :) I've worn this with denim shorts, with a pencil skirt, as a cover up, as a (sorta) cardigan, and now, with leggings.

I'm also loving my flats as it is super soft in the inside... like Twinkies! LOL! Seriously, the interior of these shoes are cushioned so it feels like you are walking on a carpet. :)

I shoulda prolly took this photoshoot outside so my sunglasses could serve its purpose. But I don't have a tall tripod to use my camera with. :( Boo!

I have tons of these earrings in different colors. They are made of light-weight wood, by the way. :) Aaaaaand each pair only cost me 50 pesos (a little more than a dollar). *^^*

Hope everyone is having a nice day despite the super hot weather! :)
